Volunteer Sign up

We are looking for any/all volunteers to be called upon when needed. This will assist in multiple areas of the church and is an excellent way to get involved and serve your church community.

Hospitality

Setting up and tearing down tables and chairs for various events

Food prep and clean up

Maintenance

Cornerstone Kids

*Must have attended Cornerstone regularly for 6 consecutive months and have been Plan to Protect Certification through Cornerstone 

Youth Ministry

Follower of Jesus, love discipling and encouraging Youth

providing snacks for Sr and/or Jr Youth group meeting nights

Outreach

Professional Healthcare Providers, Interpreters, Drivers, Medical & Nursing Students, General Volunteers

Partnering with Positive Living Niagara to deliver weekly delivery of meals + developing long-term friendship with a person living with HIV/AIDS. (High Commitment Level Required)

Sunday Mornings

Helping vehicles get parked safely and efficiently. The first smile and warm interaction making people feel welcome

Opening doors and greeting people with a warm welcome. 

Make, set out, and serve coffee before Sunday morning services and clean up afterwards

Provide the third warm welcome, hand out print bulletins, and help people find seats 

Committed followers of Jesus, are proficient on their instrument and/or vocals and have experience playing in band settings

Supporting Sunday Gatherings through, Camera Operators; Video Directors ( livestream switchers ); Front of House Audio Technicians (sound board); Lighting Technicians; and Presentation Operators (worship music lyrics & sermon slides)

Disciples of Jesus who read well out loud, public reading of scripture during Sunday Gatherings

Baptized member of Cornerstone who prepare and serve Communion

Media Team

Has experience with digital videography and/or editing, or has a keen interest and is willing to learn

Has experience with digital photography and/or photo editing or has a keen interest and is willing to learn

Has some experience in graphic design, understands designing within brand guidelines
