Details

Jr. Youth will be heading up to Camp Crossroads this year for their annual Deep Freeze Winter Retreat! Deep Freeze is a weekend retreat planned specifically for Jr High youth groups – that means lots of action in the snow, great food, dynamic chapel speakers and a full worship band – all to encourage the youth in their walk with Christ. We are looking forward to an exciting weekend together where we can spend time with each other and have LOTS of fun!

To learn more about Camp Crossroads and Deep Freeze, check out their website here!

Here are the details for the weekend:

Dates: January 9th - 11th, 2026

Transportation: We will be travelling to Camp Crossroads by bus. We will be meeting at Cornerstone Community Church (1570 Niagara Stone Road, Virgil, ON) on Friday, January 9th at 4:30pm and will be leaving at 5:00pm. Pick up will be on Sunday, January 11th at Cornerstone Community Church at approximately 5:00pm, depending on traffic.

Cost: The original cost of the weekend is $190. We will be doing a fundraiser as a group to raise some money so that we can cut the cost down for each youth. We are hoping to lower the cost to approximately $150/person.
We will not ask for payments on the online registration form until after the fundraiser has taken place and we have figured out the cost per person.
More information on the fundraiser will be coming soon.

Registration Information

1. Preregistration is required for the event and there is a limited number of spots available.

2. Once you fill out all of the required information, there are two forms that will need to be filled out: Camp Crossroads Individual Registration Form & Cornerstone Waiver. The Camp Crossroads form will need to be printed off and brought to youth anytime prior to the retreat. The Cornerstone Waiver can be filled out online and electronically submitted. Please ensure that you have completed both forms after registering.
